A Little About Jed...and a few other things...
This little Jed. What a ham. He is recently discovered a love of sea shanties. He loves to ask Alexa to play a band named, The Longest Johns. He has a few of them memorized and lip sinks them while doing something that resembles an Irish jig. He makes us laugh.
Little Cookie is enjoying his cold days in the garage. We find him in some of the most peculiar places.
Jed was pushed down to the ground on recess while playing with a friend. He had the biggest goose egg and a skinned up knee. The story goes that a friend asked him if he wanted to play a game. Jed agreed to it before knowing what he was saying yes to. Next thing he knew, he hit the ground. Boys are so much rougher than girls!
Jed enjoyed designing boats and racing them at Cub Scouts in November. He sure does enjoy Scouts. He was so excited to get his prizes from his popcorn sales. He chose a first aide kit, a camping utensil kit and a crank flashlight. He also picked out a Cub Scout bag to keep his gear in.
Jed is becoming such a fantastic reader. He is so serious about reading his little red readers each night so he can take them back and exchange them for new ones. He still doesn't enjoy being read to nearly as much as his sister did, but I'm at least happy that he is enjoying reading himself.
I knitted/crocheted this shawl for Ainslie Gard several years ago. She has outgrown it and has passed it on to Evangeline. I have a picture of Evangeline modeling this at 4 when I made it new and now it's back in our lives at age 12.
Little Pickle toes, or as we call them...quality beans.
